On this occasion, Apparel & Textiles Magazine is proud to showcase Jessica Evelyn Wiseman. This versatile artist in both a model and a photographer. Jessica found the inspiration and confidence she was looking for in her modeling work and many times poses as her own model. Jessica is a great example of a multitalented member of the fashion industry. Following is a brief story of her incursion into the fashion world in her own words. "Ever since I was young I had dreams to be a model but I had never really acted on them until about a year ago. I guess like any girl I was self conscious and didn't have a lot of confidence. In late 2007 a friend of mine brought me a camera and a passion for photography began. I had always been interested in fashion and had previously studied a certificate 3 in concept of clothing production. I always knew that my goal was to be in the fashion industry I just wasn´t sure how yet. My photography progressed and I would pose in a lot my own work knowing I could produce what I wanted. I did this for about 2 years. This is were I learned what looked good and didn't, what was a good pose or facial expression and what wasn't. I learned a lot from magazines, TV, and work that others have done. All through out my photography days I had people telling me I should give modeling a go and one day mid 2009 I decided why not?! What did I have to lose? I had nothing to lose and everything to gain so I took the leap. It has helped me so much with my confidence issues. Modeling has become my passion! There is nothing I love more! I have since done a lot of photographic work. Everything from casual and lingerie, to high fashion. I have helped in the progress of many people´s portfolios for make up, hair and photography. Early this year I was given the opportunity to do an advert for "Feb fast", a campaign aimed at young adult to give up the booze for the month of February. It was a great experience and I became the face of the website.
