Couture Fashion Week loves charity. This season, CFW partners with the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The fashion show at 8 pm on Saturday September 11 will be part of a “Pink Night.” A Komen representative will walk the runway in a custom-made gown.

Andres Aquino Style Leader, Inspiration

Founder and producer Andres Aquino recently received the “Style Fashion Leader & Inspiration Award” from SUNY Westchester Community College. CFW and the college have collaborated for years. Fashion merchandising students volunteer at the event gaining valuable career experience, while CFW benefits from bright energetic workers.

The Dubai Connection

Couture Fashion Week producer Andres Aquino recently visited Dubai, an important fashion center in the Middle East, where he showed his latest collection of couture gowns at Dubai Fashion Week, and held interviews with the regional press. CFW continues to explore partnerships in Dubai’s luxury market.
