Ekta Singh Fashion Designer Collection in Dubai Fashion Week 2010
Ekta Singh, a womens wear fashion designer and consultant based in New Delhi, completed her formal education in the field of fashion and launched her own label “EKTA SINGH” in 2001. Her forte being couture and bridal wear, the perfection and her intense passion for her work shows in the meticulous attention to detailing ranging from choice of fabrics to use of embellishments.
Her participation a couple of times consecutively at the Dubai Fashion Week and at the Fashion Expo Arabia in Abu Dhabi last season got her an overwhelming response to her collection and also a prestigious list of buyers from across the globe and intensive media coverage.
The label is currently present at Harvey Nichols Saudi Arabia, Mumbai Se, Studio 8, Kimaya, Designers Lounge in Dubai and Kuwait and other prestigious stores all over the world along with her flagship store EKTA SINGH in New Delhi. Amber Feroz was born in the city of Banaras dipped in its rich weaving traditions, Amber grew up between pails of color swirls, silken skeins and woven gold in his father’s workshops. Interning at Armani Prive and Atelier Malhaas, he earned his design degree from INSTITUTO di MODA BURGO, Milan, Italy. Working in timelessness drapery with seamless structure remains the cornerstone of his signature style.
Commencing the runaway route, by winning Burjuman Runway Art Competition2007, Amber’s spirited fashion showcasing at Abu Dhabi Fashion Week, inspired Mr. Mario Bosselli president Camera Moda International, to select his ensembles & publish them in the ‘trend setter’ segment of Conde Nast magazines. Soon he unveiled collections at Creations Fashion Week, Dubai International Fashion Week, Delhi Fashion Week and Dubai Fashion Week -winning international media acclaim.
