Sasha Devine : Confidence is the key to success.

She´s currently working with SISA Designs, a Brazilian Designer who will be launching her summer line.

What advice can you give us to have a better world?

“There are so many opinions on war. I believe we can do without it, but we can not control it.

There are higher powers that control certain things that we as civilians can not. It is a scary thing when you turn on the news and you see whole cities destroyed by natural disasters. I feel for everyone that has lost a loved one or that has lost their home because of this.

It is extremely sad. it would humble anyone to see these children and families impoverished because of something like this. The scary thing is it is out of our control.

All we can do is deal with the aftermath. We should all do our part in trying to keep this earth clean, after all it is ours.”

What advice can you give to pretty girls like you, that want to start their career in the fashion world? “My advise would be to push through as many doors as possible.

The modeling and fashion industry is a huge business. There is always room for one more. Confidence is the key to success.

Sasha Devine with 20 years old and a rare mix of races : Polish, Puerto Rican and Salvadorian ancestry, remarked to Apparel & Textiles Magazine that she´s currently working with SISA Designs, a Brazilian Designer who will be launching her summer line. She will also be working with One of 1 Clothing, Urban Designer. “It is a very exciting time for me with two fashion runway shows lined up for the summer season”, she said.

She has been modeling for about 2yrs for various photographers, and has been performing since the age of four. “I love the camera and I adore fashion”, said Sasha.

Sasha has many favorite designers: “I would have to say, I have many. Two of my favorite designers have to be Roberto Cavalli and Valentino. Roberto Cavalli for his edgy style and Valentino for his classic beauty.”

What kind of clothes do you wear? I keep in tune with all the latest fashions, so I am very trendy and like to put together my own looks and mix it up. If I had to describe my sense of style, I would have to say, trendy sheik”

Shasha speakes about her life and hopes. “I began performing at the age of 4 so camera shy, I am NOT. I hope to be modeling and acting in my future. I really feel I was one of those people who was born to perform in front of a camera. I love doing it and it makes me feel alive.”

Sasha Devine shares her thoughts about social injustice in the world with us: “Social injustice in the world is not always fair to those who deserve fairness, but in every cloud there is a silver lining. Good deeds never go unseen or unheard from the one above. There are many things that need fixing in this world but we can all start by doing our part in what’s right.”

There are thousands of children without any future. What do you suggest we do to help them? “Although it is true, that many children have hard lives and sometimes it may feel like you are on a road to nowhere, but keep your heads up. There are many people that are doing exactly what they dreamed of doing in their life, and they also came from a hard life. They managed to pull through with determination. Do not ever let anyone tell you that you can’t, because the truth is you can!”

Do you believe in God? I believe that no matter what religion you follow, it is pretty clear that there is a God. If there wasn’t then how did we all get here? You can dispute anything else in regards to religion or spirituality, but there is no disputing God. Religions interpret written word in all different ways, but the existence of God is firm.”
